How the pension is calculated in the Netherlands
The Dutch state pension (AOW) does not depend on your salary. You build up 2% for every year you live or work in the Netherlands in the 50 years before your AOW age, so 50 years give the full amount. Most employees also get a workplace pension from a pension fund, which this calculator does not include.
